Looptroop is the most popular Sweden hip-hop band. In 2000 they released their album Modern Day City Symphony that then will bring them that popularity they have now.

In this modern album you can hear Freestyle from Arsonists, German scratcher dj Noize and Looptroop’s friends - Timbuktu and Kekke Kulcha. The most serious music critics said that Modern Day City Symphony is the best Europe hip-hop album. So it has the best selling ratings.

Without some exotics in the native country (for hip-hop), the group became famous all round the world.

You should notice that Promoe, Cosmic and Supreme read on English, and they don’t shy. They said: “First of all, English is an international language, and this gives us understanding round the world. On the other hand for Sweden English is the second native language. Everyone can speak English in my country. The best example – our kids TV program - a half of them we see on English and others has English titles. The same situation is with the movies. In our country we don’t translate English movies. So Swedes know English well from their childhood”.

They are currently working on a new album in English, which will be released april 2008 entitled “Good Things”, also the same year that DVSG will celebrate their tenth anniversary.
