The album contains a double disc CD&DVD format. Live from London was a special bonus to the DVD release of Madonna's Confessions Tour. Recorded on Madonna’s 2006 Confessions Tour the album takes the one at London's Wembley Stadium, and it's one of those concerts that drag into the atmosphere and makes the one feel like he is there. From the start of the concert till the finish DVD is full of songs, dancing, sets, outfits, dancers, workers, etc. Madonna used the show recorded at Wembley Arena and directed by Jonas Åkerlund in DVD disk. The CD disc contains concert highlights. In some countries only DVD version of the Confessions Tour was released. Madonna included thirteen tracks into the album. Some of them are Madonna’s classics (for example, Like a Virgin, Lucky Star, and the first appearance of the You Thrill Me version of Erotica), but most part of songs was performed in the 2005 Confessions on a Dance Floor album. Those are such song as Hung Up, Sorry, and Jump. Besides Warner Bros. Records has released three promotional singles and two music videos. Released promotional singles were titled Music Inferno and Future Lovers/I Feel Love to radio stations to promote the live album The Confessions Tour. Jump was released in Japan, as promotional-only single. Madonna also included music videos for Jump and Ray of Light singles. Tracks Get Together and Ray of Light were performed as bonus tracks only and included only on the Digital Download format, but not on the CD version of the album. The Confessions Tour album was rather successful. It received good reviews and achieved peak positions in numerous countries, having become platinum in several of them.
